# NASA mission showcases by MixinVisuals

Live, self-updating showcases of NASA missions that MixinVisuals builds and runs. Each one reads NASA's own image archives and mission pages on a schedule, publishes new pictures within minutes of NASA posting them (with their original captions and credits), places each one where it was taken, and gives every image its own page.

## Roman Atlas

https://roman.mixinvisuals.com/

Every image from NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope: simulations, cleanroom photos, the Falcon Heavy launch (August 30, 2026) and, from early 2027, its first views of the universe. On a 3D sky, in deep zoom and as cinematic tours, with Roman's live position on its way to Sun–Earth L2 from NASA/JPL Horizons. Checks NASA every 15 minutes.

## Free Return: Artemis II

https://artemis2.mixinvisuals.com/

Ride Orion's real free-return path around the Moon and back. Every photograph the Artemis II crew took appears where and when they took it, from liftoff to Earthset, the far side and the eclipse, to splashdown. 9,700+ NASA frames, each with its own page.

## Hubble Atlas

https://hubble.mixinvisuals.com/

Every Hubble Space Telescope image, 9,000+ photos of galaxies, nebulae and planets from NASA and ESA/Hubble, each placed on a 3D sky at the spot Hubble was looking. Updated daily.

## How they work

1. Straight from NASA: new pictures show up minutes after NASA posts them, with their original captions and credits.
2. Where it was taken: pictures sit on the sky or on the spacecraft's path, then open in deep zoom.
3. Built to be found: every image has its own page, image sitemaps and text versions for search engines and AI assistants.
